YOUNG WOMEN’S GROUP
Informal groups focus on discussion around issues highlighted by participants, primarily around truancy & school issues, binge drinking, substance abuse, sexual health, legal matters, harm minimization strategies, relationships with family & friends and general health matters. Groups are fun, safe & interactive,using tools such as photolanguage cards, cooking, art, group discussions, videos & skills based activities. The girls have just completed a jewelry making & beading project 9 girls are doing an enterprise project, learning how to set up an ebay business.  The Year 10 girls are currently doing a woodworking program at Pat Gregory's workshop and are making chopping boards, a dolls house (to be donated to a local childcare centre), mirror frames and a birdhouse.

YOUNG MEN'S GROUP
Discussion groups focus on issues such as binge drinking, unsafe behaviours, sexual health,self esteem, legal rights, communication skills, music workshops, surf and skate clinics and food. This term the boys have completed three graffiti murals at their school, built two billycarts for the Bangalow Billycart Derby (in conjunction with the Uncle program) and are currently planning improvements to the Mullumbimby Skatepark and liaising with Byron Council to get the project happening.

  MAGIC: THE GATHERING

Every Saturday card tornaments will be held at the Cottage from 10 - 4 pm alternate Saturdays. Cost will be $6
