Byron Youth Service Management Committee works closely with BYS management and staff in ensuring that the organisation delivers successful programs and services for young people aged 12- 24 in the Byron region.
The Committee does its best to encourage an environment where local young people feel valued and confi dent, not only in realizing their personal potential, but also in considering how they can become valuable participants in the community.
We are excited by the developing venture of bringing community groups, businesses, local council, and government departments together to promote the Byron Shire Youth Commitment.

Hi, I'm Sally Preston. I have always worked with young people and really enjoy the part they play in my world. As a teacher I have always marvelled in what they can teach me. I moved to Byron Bay three years ago and was really impressed with the programmes offered by BYS. Being asked to part of the Management Committee has been a great opportunity for me to work with a focused and highly motivated team. From this, I have also experienced the wonderful generousity of the community of Byron Bay
