Volunteering as a BYS Mentor

A mentor is someone who supports a young person to explore their potentials, dreams, ideas and skills. Making the decision to become a mentor means making the decision to contributing to the growth of our  community’s future. BYS would love  to be able to  offer all young people in our region the opportunity to experience a mentoring relationship. Most mentoring settings are interesting and creative, and time commitment is flexible. Give it a go!!!!! BYS  is currently recruiting  mentors for mentoring programs. for further information about mentoring, activities & programscontact BYS Mentoring Coordinator: Rosalie Bryant 02 66857777 exxt4 mentoring AT bys.org.au

Enterprise Volunteers

Byron Youth Service seeks to create a culture of enterprise amongst young people. Our voluntary Business Mentors play an important role in sharing their knowledge and encouraging young people to have an interest in enterprise. We encourage local business people to share their enterprise adventures with young people in our programs.
