Students of the YAC Cooking School also get the opportunity to gain experience by selling their wares at The Byron Flea Market, or working in the YAC Cafe @ByronFlea!

Learn the essentials of how to work in a kitchen in the hospitality industry.

This includes how to handle food safely, hygiene, basic skills, how to work in a fast paced team environment and how to operate a commercial dishwasher.

"Creative Catering 101"

12th October 2017 — 4pm-7.30pm - $50

 

 

Creating something of a professional standard that's also amazing to eat!

The course consists of making rich chocolate muffins, raw carrot cupcakes with macadamia frosting, raw chocolate raspberry slice, & real chai!

Included in this class is basic kitchen hygiene, how to use a dishwasher & basic kitchen hand skills.
